    No worries Joe. I feel the same way, mildly obsessed with Paris pre-WWI. 2 years ago on April 19, 2009 I had the pleasure of eating at Alinea again and an Escoffier influenced dish was presented; Pigeonneau a la Staint Claire. I knew something was up. It was amazing.
