Renee Shepard has a great recipe for Chutney with green tomatoes and apples. She is calling it mincemeat this year, but it is comforting chutney, especially this time of year. Renee's Garden. is the website.
Years ago this saved my life as I never could conquer Fried Green Tomatoes. Romas will work. I always make too much everyyear because I think I will eat it everyday. Eventually the tastebuds rebel.
