Life is a work in progress

Like this blog.  I forgot to put a contact page in!  Also need to figure out what else to put in these columns.  What would be helpful to people.  Recipes? Links?

some sites have links to previous blog posts that might be helpful. I think those are randomly generated.

Recipes might helpful. I don't think I'd personally use them. Where would you pull them from?

What about having your twitter account having a live feed on your blog?

From all your posting you're an avid reader of other blogs/articles. You could post those links.

    just a few ideas.

It might be interesting to have a discussion area for ratio - a place where we the readers could go to get more ratios beyond that are in the book/app or share/discuss the recipes we create. It might also be interesting to get other chefs to develop ratios for other cuisines (Mexican, Indian, etc)

Bring the Chef links back, it was my bookmark page to get to every other blog I read...Eric, Ms Glaze, Hunger Artist, Chadzilla, ChrisDeBarr, Linecook, Movable Feast, and your new arch-nemesis David Lebovitz.

How about recipes or quick instruction on some of the things you mention making on Twitter, like those grit cakes the other day?

How about whose blogs YOU are reading. I springboard from you site all the time, especally when I have already read your current post.

Let us know who inspires you on the fly or gives you the daily thought or giggle. Bob del Grosso often does both.

I vote for a recipe's index and how about some how to video's.

A recipe index would be great. Also, not all of the posts from the newly designed site (like this one) are showing up on my google reader. I don't know if this is due to google are if there is a tweak to be made on the site.

Does Donna still have a website? A link to that would be nice.

I second (third, fourth maybe?) the request for the return of your links. Your's is the go to site for me to every other blog I semi-regularly look at, and a starting point for finding other ones to start frequenting when really bored at work.

I love this idea too: "How about whose blogs YOU are reading. I springboard from you site all the time, especally when I have already read your current post."

I have to comment though, I find it humerous that many readers are asking for "recipes", seeing a common disdain for them...how many recipes have you ever posted? Maybe just call them "Tweaks". Some of your favorite techniques, videos, etc. would be cool. Definitely liked the guest spots from Chef Pardus.

I'd like to see the links back also. I think there used to be a link to Donna's site and I can't find it now. And the archives too.
