One of the things I loved about shooting for Michael Symon is that we both liked taking photos of the process of cooking, and these, a lot which ran in B&W, really show how he puts the dish together. I think the process photos help show how accessible his recipes are. Shooting at a very high ISO (800-1000) I shot these with the available light in his kitchen and one modeling light soft box in front. My lens was always wide open and I had a shutter speed of around 40-60th of a second to get motion. When converted to B&W, the high ISO made the images very grainy for a look similar to high speed B&W film.
