From The Market Place restaurant in Asheville, NC - Benton's (TN) prosciutto, peas, elbow macaroni, cheddar mornay, and an herb crust. Yum!

A nearby deli/ small market, Montowese Food Store in North Haven, CT makes Mac and Cheese to die for! The owner's wife tells me its made with a secret recipe, including 5 different types of cheeses. They usually feature it on Fridays. For $5.99, you get a huge order, enough to feed two people. A little bit of heaven, I say!

My mother used to make the most amazing mac and cheese. I couldn't tell you everything that was in it but it was topped with crispy buttery crackers.
